DAY 30: MY HUSBAND

MY HUSBAND! Saved the best for last, I seriously wanted to write about him every day but now I can reflect back on the whole month and how much I love and adore him. We truly are each other’s best friend! Soul Mates! I can’t get over how amazing he is and how lucky and THANKFUL I am to have him in my life and to call him mine!

Day 28: thankful to share the holiday

First HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

ThanksGIVING! My husband and I traveled up north, bright and early this morning to visit some of my family this holiday.   I’m very thankful to share my first holiday up north with my family and with my husband.  Prior to being married, my husband and I did not share the holiday events with one another, we both spent time with our separate families.  This year, we had to change it up and start sharing the fun. This year my husband came with my family up north to Rhinelander, WI. It is great to share our traditions and have him there for all our fun.

Day 24: I’m thankful for dog antlers!

I’m thankful for dog antlers! My pup (6 month old mix) goes through rawhide bones too quickly. Teddy devours them too fast or sucks on them until it becomes mushy and chokes.  We have been on the search for a different toy, a different distraction. Stuffed animals get destroyed, balls require throwing, and squeaky toys, which he loves but we can’t stand all the squeaking. Then we tried antlers! AMAZING! They are natural, healthy, odorless and long lasting toys that keep our pup interested and busy.  Antlers are safe for chewing, does not split or chip, contain many beneficial nutrients and nothing artificial, clean (no messy odor or residue) and Teddy LOVES them!

Day 23: I’m thankful for a day of nothing.

I’m thankful for a day of nothing.  It has been a very long time since my husband and I had a day… that the calendar was empty. (I’m talking months!) Even if the calendar seems free, usually something comes up.  But not today. There was no where we had to be or that we had to do. It was wonderful.  It slows life down a bit, gives you time to relax!
